Hello, I’m Mikilia Carroll, founder of Aid4Autism. My mission is to help parents navigate the resources and services available for their children on the autism spectrum. As a single mother of three – ages 23, 19, and 16 – and a proud Glam-ma to my lively granddaughter Emmy, I understand the unique challenges and joys of raising a child with autism.My journey began when my second child, Logan, was diagnosed with severe autism and intellectual disabilities at the age of 2. The diagnosis was a profound moment for me. I had sensed that Logan wasn’t reaching the same milestones as his older brother or peers. Seeking an assessment was a pivotal decision that helped us understand his needs and how we could support him best.
